Affiliate Marketing for Beginners

I am writing about affiliate marketing today because I am just getting into the programs myself on the blog and would like to share some information.

  Affiliate Marketing is a way for a company to sell its products by signing up individuals or companies ("affiliates") who market the company's products for a commission . There are two ways to approach affiliate marketing: You can offer an affiliate program to others or you can sign up to be another business's affiliate. 

I intend to fill you in on my progress when I start my program this week. 

Starting a new website or blog? Affiliate marketing is a great way to start supplementing your income and you can market items that are associated with your niche. I have taken my time researching this and you will see I do not have any ads on my blog yet. The reason for this is because you need to research. 




                                                      

 Get excited, there are tons of avenues to make a great income as an affiliate marketer! 
                           
           

• Decide what audience you want to target
• What is your passion?
• How much money can you make with your niche
• How often are you going to blog and can you continue to write several blogs about the topic you have chosen
• Make sure for this niche that there are affiliate programs
• Be careful not to go for the most popular programs because you will be competing with other marketers
• Research affiliate programs and understand their terms and conditions+
• Follow their guidelines on how they wish for their product to be marketed 

There are many different types of affiliate programs. Again, do your research! Make sure it will be profitable for you. Take your time. My rule is, I will advertise products or sites that I would use myself. 

Webmasters, bloggers, search affiliates, are a few of the different affiliate marketers. With such a broad range of programs, it is a huge industry that continues to grow.
